Malnod Ultra is a volunteer-driven, not for profit marathon certified by ITRA and a UTMB Index Race, making it the only Indian event in the prestigious Asia Trail Master Series. Nestled in the heart of Karnataka’s Western Ghats (as the name Male meaning forest and Nadu meaning land, suggests), this event redefines trail running by celebrating the raw, rugged beauty of nature and the unyielding spirit of its runners.
The Co&Co team has always been passionate about ultra runs and a few have volunteered with 8 significant editions of Malnad. We directed and produced the brand video which is more than a promotional tool, it’s a benchmark for sports storytelling. We captured the spirit of every individual runner, infused with a rush of adrenaline which is shown in the final video. One may feel insignificant when put in front of the vastness of Malnad - leaving behind a sense of ambition to finish the run.
